Mitzi Miller is owner and principal consultant of EQM, Inc. She is an environmental chemist and a highly experienced project manager with expertise in analytical chemistry and quality programs for environmental applications. Ms. Miller has more than thirty years experience in analytical laboratory assessments and data quality audits and assessments. She is a certified ISO 17025 Auditor and a Lead Assessor for A2LA with special certification for lead (Pb) assessment.
Since 1999, Ms. Miller has performed over 60 A2LA environmental laboratory assessments in support of QA programs for federal, state, and commercial entities. Ms. Miller has performed ISO accrediting audits for testing laboratories supporting chemical analyses, national security programs, food and drug programs, performance testing, and environmental analyses. She has served as an Accredited Lead in state audits for National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP).
Ms. Miller has facilitated development of Regulatory Systematic Planning (formerly Data Quality Objectives [DQO] processes) for numerous risk-assessment and characterization projects, including a project with over 1,000 constituents of potential concern at one of the nation’s most complex environmental cleanup sites. She has facilitated Systematic Planning processes related to RCRA and CERCLA remediation, waste management systems and waste-disposal activities. She is a lead author of risk assessment and characterization verification plans for reactor decommissioning projects, and she has written QA plans supporting decontamination and decommissioning and various groundwater remediation projects.
Ms. Miller led development and administration of the Navy's Installation Restoration Hazardous Waste Remedial Action Program (HAZWRAP), and Field Sampling and Analytical QA Programs. The work involved management of 14 auditors responsible for QA on over 200 projects and 80 laboratories per year. These programs manage analytical QA for restoration projects in all Navy Divisions and at Air Force bases nationwide.

Ms. Emily Maloney received her B.S. degree in Chemistry in 2005 from Washington State University. She has seven years of professional experiences supporting Hanford Site Contractors in various Environmental Remediation and Analytical Laboratory activities.
Ms. Maloney is currently supporting Environmental Quality Management, Inc. (EQM) in the preparation of environmental documents such as Data Quality Objectives (DQOs), Sampling and Analysis Plans (SAPs), and Remedial Action Work Plans (RAWPs) for waste designation and disposal and for meeting the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA) Removal Action Criteria.
